Center for Energy and Environment is a clean energy nonprofit with special expertise in energy efficiency that stretches back 40 years. Complementary areas of focus include independent technical research, program development and implementation, community engagement, policy advocacy, and project financing. Founded in 2016, Clean Energy Economy MN (CEEM) provides the business voice for energy efficiency and clean energy in Minnesota. As an industry-led, nonprofit organization we promote the business case for energy efficiency and clean energy to drive innovation and expand market opportunities. 

CEEM has more than 40 member-businesses ranging from start-up businesses to Fortune 100 and 500 corporations that employ thousands of Minnesotans across the state. CEEM works across industries and between the aisle to support a prosperous clean energy economy for all Minnesotans.

Clean Grid Alliance (CGA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in St. Paul, Minn., whose mission is to advance renewable energy in the Midwest. Launched in 2001, CGA has been an active stakeholder in the MISO process at the state and regional levels. CGA’s membership includes industry representatives working in wind, solar and storage as well as environmental nonprofit organizations, public interest groups, clean energy advocates, farm groups, and businesses providing goods and services to the renewable energy industry who come together to reduce carbon and deliver a renewable energy future. MnSEIA is a member-driven 501(c)(6) nonprofit that promotes and protects Minnesota’s solar and storage industries. We work for, and harness the strength of, our 160+ member companies at the state legislative and regulatory arenas in a unified and actionable way to move the industry forward.
